The Horsehead

The Horsehead Nebula, designated as Barnard 33, is a famous and iconic dark nebula located in the Orion Molecular Cloud Complex, situated approximately 1,500 light-years away from Earth. This stunning astronomical feature gets its name from the distinctive shape that resembles the profile of a horse's head, with a mane trailing behind.
