Artist's Description
The Coso Rock Art District, nestled within the rugged landscape of the Coso Range in California's Mojave Desert, is a testament to the ancient cultural heritage of indigenous peoples. This expansive archaeological site boasts thousands of petroglyphs etched into volcanic rock formations, depicting a diverse array of geometric patterns, human figures, animals, and abstract symbols.
